4. Manage your “Life Stripes”

a) Stripe life into sections – compartments – build bulkheads. The advantage of this is that if one section fails, then other parts keep going. Think of it like bulkheads on a submarine – a puncture in one section doesn’t mean that the whole submarine sinks.

b) Can run in parallel.

c) Can be sequential when there are dependencies or if it makes sense to break a project down into smaller parts.

d) Break down big projects and tasks into smaller ones (utilize the Five Second Process if you are going off target, or simply can’t get started).
